We welcome you with warmth.
Tale Behind “Vanvaas”
Somewhere in the mountains, where the road turns into a narrow trail and the forest slowly takes over, there lies a quiet stretch of land called VANVAAS — a place to distance yourself from the noise of the world.
And that’s where this story began.
Two men met in the city through business dealings. They were very different in many ways — one was intuitive and driven by ideas that rarely fit neatly into spreadsheets, while the other was dependable yet deeply emotional at heart. But they shared one thing in common: neither of them was made to live by someone else’s rules. They were built to stand on their own feet, no matter what.
One journey to the mountains changed something in them. There was an unspoken comfort, an effortless bond, and a growing exhaustion with the fast, loud, and hollow rhythm of city life. A thought slowly took shape — what if they created something in the mountains?
A place where people could pause, breathe, and feel calm again.
Over time, the idea became stronger.
Not a hotel.
Not just another café.
But something real. Something slow.
A place where food is prepared with patience, not shortcuts. Where desi ghee and sarson tel bring back forgotten flavours. Where vegetables come from nearby farms, not factories. A place where life feels simple again.
Then their wives became part of the journey — not merely as supporters, but as an unwavering force behind the dream. And somewhere in the background, the four of them still sit together at times, looking at the mountains and quietly calling it home.
Building Vanvaas was never easy. The weather delayed work, ideas clashed, plans stretched, and money often felt uncertain. But none of them backed down, because giving up was never part of who they were.
And that is how Vanvaas was born — not from a business plan, but from a feeling.
A place where people can relax, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the kind of peace that modern life often forgets.
